Can I use it on two Macs?
A licence covers one Mac. The key ties itself to the Mac it first activates on, and you can reinstall there as often as you like. A second Mac needs its own licence. Moving to a new Mac? Write to us from the email you paid with and we move it.
Crowny says my key is wrong.
Copy it again from the page you saw after paying, or from your receipt email: a missing character is the usual cause. If it says the key is already used on another Mac, or you have lost it, write to us from the email you paid with.
Can I buy on my phone?
Yes. Pay here, and your key is on the page that follows, with a copy by email. Download Crowny on your Mac later and paste the key when it asks.
Who takes the payment?
Dodo Payments, our merchant of record: the checkout is theirs, and their name is on your statement. We never see your card.
What happens after the founding price?
The founding price is for the first few licences only. After that Crowny is $15, once. If you bought at the founding price, nothing changes for you: the same licence and every version 1 update.
How do refunds work?
Write to us within 14 days of buying, from the email you paid with, and we refund the full amount through Dodo Payments. No reason needed. The key is switched off.
